Our friends raved about this place as it's the same owner as Asadero but better so we had to try. Service was excellent and food was up there as well just wish the steak came with small condiments.Highly recommend the bone marrow. Will definitely come back to check out their happy hour.

We have been to Sonora a couple of times now and it does NOT disappoint. Maple Valley was definitely in need of some "nicer" dinner options and this place fits the bill - good ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food! Yes, it's a bit pricier than most of the surrounding establishments, but it's worth it. Water comes infused with your choice of fresh fruit, plus a little starter of tostadas with bean dip and fresh salsa. Margaritas were tasty and strong. We have tried the queso and guacamole for appetizers; both are great but the guac really stands out - highly recommend! We have tried a few entrees (torta, tacos, steaks, etc.) and my favorite were the Tacos Del Patron. On top of the great food, we have always received excellent service from Sonora's hosts and servers. They were very attentive, checking on our tables frequently, and food and drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time. Our servers were quite knowledgeable about the menu offerings - both times we received great recommendations on what to order. Easy 5/5 stars!

It's like a sister restaurant to Asadero Steak in Kent/Seattle You get welcomed by your server holding/presenting a wooden board with limes, mint, lemon and cucumber for you to choose to add to your glass of water. Love that thoughtful memorable hospitality touch. You also get a complimentary appetizer of their delicious salsa that I keep thinking about even now. **Get the Australian wagyu Rib Eye! It's so tender and flavorful and one of the most recommended! Atmosphere and environment was nice and clean. Service was one of the best we had. Ellie was such an amazing server and did a great job serving our party of 14. Will def be back because of her and made the experience very memorable. We had 3 kids with us and felt welcomed, they even have a kids menu that has good selections. They even have a menu for "kidtails" drinks. The only negative feedback I can give is that their rice was super duper salty. Not quite sure if that was normal or if the chef messed up. Our guests had the same experiences with their side rice.

One of the best Mexican steak houses!!! I love their steaks when it comes out on a sizzling hot stone. The appetizers that I enjoy are the bone marrow (Tuetanos) and guacamole. These are a couple things on the menu I would have to order! Not to forget the wagyu steak (Vacio). This cut here, is perfect! The meat is tender and comes out seasoned perfectly! I really like how Sonora Steak is so much more room. More tables that gives the arm space and it make me for more comfortable while dining. The server that helped our table did real well! Answered our questions about the menu and made his recommendations. I was very pleased with the service he provided us If you're craving some steak and the price is not bad here. Come by Sonora Steak in Maple Valley, there's plenty of parking.

A hidden gem! We found this spot via social media. We came here on a Thursday night and we were shocked it was full by the time we left. When you enter you will notice the place is very well decorated and it's clean. Menu has lots of great options. The menu is not overwhelming like it tends to be in places like this. The food portions were perfect for us. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food we got. Food was delicious. Every bite was better than the last. Our waitress Meghan was very sweet and friendly. This place is a great place to hang out with friends after a hard day at work or a date night. It's a MUST experience for sure. You will not regret coming here.

We were greeted as we sat down with the choice of lime, lemon, orange or cucumber for our water. Very refreshing. Our server was Angelica (pronounced a gel leeka) she was friendly at first. Almost felt like we were being rushed. We sat down literally sat down and were asked what appys we wanted. Uh. Need to look at the menu. Ok drinks. Same thing. She came back and took our order. We were with another couple. We both ordered. We had the demonico and the papa loca potato. It was all very good. The steak had a few pieces of silver meat but the flavor was quite good. The chim churri was delish. My only complaint was that my potato could have used 5 more minutes in the oven. It was just very slightly underdone. I love how they bring the steak out on a griddle that's hot and can cook the meat a little longer. Our cook was en point. As an appy we had the marrow bones. Delish. Again here only complaint would be a few more pieces of bread. We were given 3. It would have been nice to have minimum 8 so we could have all shared. Back to the server. They gave us a full bottle of water to pour for ourselves. As she dropped off our bill I asked for some more water "sure you bet" (spoiler I never saw any water) We were chatting with the other couple and she came back to ask for her pen back which I'm pretty sure was her way of asking for us to go. It was 8:30pm on Sunday. The place was half empty. Had it been packed and people waiting for a table I'd have cleared out long before we did. The food. Delmonico 4/5 Papa loca 4/5 Marrow bones 5/5 Service 3/5. Im one of those people that will go back to a 2 restaurant because tge service is good. But won't go back to a 5 star restaurant because of less than stellar service. For a $200 meal id prefer 5 star meal and 5 star service.

Visited here again, with some work compadres. We sat in the bar this time, and we're spoiled by the amazing bartender on duty, wish I could remember her name (Julia...?). Again, all aspects of dining here where top-notch. The food was amazing. The ambience and service were awesome.. Keep up the great work.
